Sacraments
Baptism
We invite you and your children to be a part of our Catholic community here at St. Joseph's through the sacrament of Baptism. Please call the church officec to arrange for a preparation meeting for Baptism.
Baptisms are held by appointment.
Confirmation
Through our Religious Education program, we offer instruction to
our young parishioners, usually in grade 10, in preparation of receiving
the sacrament of Confirmation and the receiving of the Holy Spirit.
The celebration is usually held in the spring.
Eucharist
Through our Religious Education program, we offer instruction to
our young parishioners, usually in grade 2, in preparation of receiving
the Eucharist. The First Eucharist celebration is usually held in the spring.
Reconciliation (Penance)
The opportunity to reconciled with God is offered through the sacrament of Reconciliation (Penance, also known as confession). The sacrament is offered
on Saturdays at 3 - 3:30 pm or by appointment.
Marriage
We encourage you to consider God's blessing as part of your relationship as a couple
through the sacrament of marriage. Please contact either priest at the rectory
at least 12 months before the desired date of your wedding, so as to make arrangements.
Anointing of the Sick
This sacrament offers God's healing, strength, and peace during important times in one's life. Our parish priests are willing to visit anyone who requests the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick. Please call a priest at the rectory to make arrangements.
